Workflow Specialist / A.C.S.R. (Los Angeles)

 

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Workflow Specialist / A.C.S.R. position is responsible for building, maintaining and ensuring client support of editing and workflow systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain, clean, test, and check all functions and buttons and complete minor repairs of all Avid and Final Cut Pro editing systems.
  • Ensure excellent quality customer service by identifying the needs and wants of clients and responding to their concerns and problems in an effective, timely manner.
  • Coordinate and execute installation and tear out of editing systems in-house and or on location with Operations Manager.
  • Be available as a Post-Camera Workflow consultant during camera preps that involve digital media workflows and work continually towards self-development to stay current on new technology, trends, procedures & practices.
  • Provide assistance and information to each client, potential client, and staff members. 
  • Carry a pager and participate in the Company’s on call rotation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College Diploma from a recognized Broadcast Electronics or Audio/Video/Film Production Course with electronics training.
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office and ability to learn and use R2
  • Work and practical experience in Audio/Video/Film Production Industry
  • Ability to use, learn and implement Electronics Principles to make repairs and adjustments to production rental equipment.

OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

  • Strong working knowledge of PC/MAC based computers and software
  • Minimum 2 years of editorial experience and working in the film and television industry
  • ACSR Certified
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Salary commensurate with experience.
